Assisting in the implementation of the Government of India's New Education Policy, aimed at addressing 'learning poverty' and the escalating dropout rates, with a particular focus on the disproportionate impact on girls compared to boys.

With a duration of about 82 weeks of shutdown, the pandemic has worsened the preexisting disparities affecting India's 242 million children across 1.5 million educational institutions.

GKF Nursing Institute

GKF Nursing Institute, a unit of Gurukrupa Foundation established in 2007, is located in Bhubaneswar. Approved by the Government of Odisha and affiliated with ONMRC, ONMEB, and INC, the institute provides quality education and practical skills to prepare students for frontline roles in healthcare. Facilities include hostels, sports, labs, and Wi-Fi. Offering BSc Nursing and GNM programs, it ensures diverse career opportunities. Partnering with hospitals in Khordha and Bargarh districts, students gain essential clinical experience.

GKF Nursing Institute offers both BSc Nursing and GNM programs, with admissions based on merit in the state-level Common Entrance Examination conducted by DMET, Odisha. The institute provides state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment for undergraduate studies. BSc Nursing applicants need a 10+2 (Science) with Biology or nursing diploma, while GNM candidates require 10+2 with English or vocational courses. The hostel provides essential amenities and a safe environment.
